You might be interested in my Phantasy Star Online ID generator. It should run on any Windows platform; it's only 35k in size, will generate section IDs on the fly (rather than having to type in the whole name and press enter, as with DOS programs), and if you pick a section ID that you want to be, it will tell you characters that you can enter or delete to get that ID. Plus, it comes with 64x64 icons for all of the different section IDs. On the downside, uh, I'm told that the About box causes the program to crash on Windows 98 computers (I use XP, and it works fine). I need to redo it, but for now, it works. If you're just interested in the section ID icons, grab this. I've also made an OS X version of my ID generator, and it can be obtained here. It works quite nicely. It's also my first experience programming with Objective C and Cocoa, so let me know if there are any problems. Or perhaps you're interested in the Phantasy Star Online tech database (which currently isn't being used much)? Yep, there are glitches in it, and no, it's not designed for the GC or Xbox PSO, and I probably won't update it unless somebody asks. If you'd like to set up a copy of the database on your own server, you can download it from http://speed.sakabatou.net/pso/PSO Tech Database.tar.gz. It's designed to run on an Apache server with Ruby and mod_ruby installed. Oh yeah, I also maintain the Mac OS X port of PSOProxy. Man, that's a lot of PSO stuff. I'm such a geek. :-( Oh, I also made a voting script in Ruby, and yet again it also requires mod_ruby. Grab it at http://speed.sakabatou.net/ruby_poll.tar.gz, see a shoddily thrown-together example on my page. E-mail me at speed@*nospam*sakabatou.net! (remove the *nospam*) |
